SISTER WISDOM

build a better life. start today.

Putting My Ducks in a Row

Well, a few hundred articles into this blogging thing and I’m finally starting to figure some stuff out. Like, hey, that guy who left the nonsensical comment on fifteen posts with linkbacks to auto-loan-save-money.com really isn’t an innocent reader with a not-so-sturdy grasp of English… nope. Just spam, spam, spammy spam spam. But in some places, spam is very popular. Korea? Isn’t that what I hear? Maybe he should go there and leave nonsensical comments and they would be welcomed. But perhaps that’s a different kind of spam entirely.

Um. Sorry. I was going to say something intelligent in that first paragraph, but I slipped up and forgot to turn on my brain-mouth, er, brain-typingfingers filter. Silly me.

One of the other things I’ve learned is that I work best with a focus and a deadline. I do well with a series, like February’s Build a Better Marriage series. It helps me to stay focused, to stay on track, and to keep from wandering down the plethora of other posting possibilities which inevitably present themselves. (Alliteration is beautiful, isn’t it?)

So with that knowledge, I’m starting two new series (serieses? seriesi?) for March/April. I tried really hard to limit myself to one, but, well, I just couldn’t. Okay, I could have. It wasn’t physically impossible. I just didn’t want to. So there. It’s my blog and I’ll do two if I want to.

And now that I’ve alienated all my readers (hi, you two! whoops, nevermind, you left because I alienated you with my rude comments), I’ll continue on. Starting tomorrow – yes, that’s right, on March 22, the first day after the first day of Spring, we’ll begin the

Parenting 101 Series!

(please hold your applause until the entire announcement is made.)
And then, beginning on Tuesday, March 23, the second day after the first day of Spring, we’ll begin the other, totally-unrelated-to-the-first-series

And in all my great thinking and planning, I thought, Hey, I’ll add a little Subscriber widget and people can subscribe to just one or the other but, well, a slow Internet connection and a busy life have conspired together against my Subscriber-widget plan. But you don’t really care about that, do you? (Be honest, it’s okay…).

So that said (what? What was said, exactly?), that’s all I have to say for now except TUNE IN TOMORROW for the first installment!
