Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute In the sight of God and man.

Hebrew: “sekel” for “good repute” = insight, understanding, prudence, good sense.
So kindness and truth in heart leads to understanding/insight that is GOOD both in God’s sight and in the sight of men. Hmm. From
